A1 or A2?

The same file prints at either size. A1 fills a wall and reads from across the room; A2 sits comfortably above a desk or in a hallway.

The A1 and A2 posters hung side by side beside the silhouette of a 1.7 metre adult.

How to print it

Take the PDF to a print shop such as Warehouse Stationery, Snap, or any local printer, and ask for a poster print at A1 (594 × 841 mm) or A2 (420 × 594 mm). The file is the shape of an A-series sheet, so either size prints without cropping.

For paper, ask for satin or gloss poster paper of around 200 gsm, which is what our printed posters use. Plain paper works but looks flatter.

Accuracy and sources

The events on the poster were researched mainly from Te Ara, the Encyclopedia of New Zealand and NZHistory. Every event has its own page on this site listing the sources behind it. How events were chosen.

What sizes can I print?

A1 (594 × 841 mm) or A2 (420 × 594 mm). The PDF is made for both, so it stays sharp at either size.

When will I get the file?

Within 24 hours of purchase, as a PDF attached to an email sent to the address you give at checkout.

My file didn’t arrive. What now?

Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it isn’t there, email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout and we’ll send it again.

Can I get a refund?

If there’s a problem with your file, we’ll fix or replace it. Email [email protected] and tell us what’s wrong.
